Hello everyone, welcome to the Collab Calendar for August! These are all the Collabs that are being hosted on the NGAP Collab Center Discord Server. We’ll be covering the ones that have a concrete deadline, the ones that don’t or are more loose with their deadlines, and the ones that have published this month! I’m excluding any collabs that are not open to new participates or are wrapping up.
Collabs with Deadlines:
HI-TECHGROUNDS (Hosted by @rejd): This collab is all about hi-tech fusion and techcore tracks! Tracks can be a minimum of 2 minutes but as long as you want, if you’re not familiar with the genre, Rejd recommends taking a look at his playlist to get inspiration from! Submissions should be finished by September 26th!
NGAP Megacollab 2 (Hosted by @chipsqueek): A sequel to last year’s megacollab, hosted by @3manonmusic last time, is here with chipsqueek at the helm! The megacollab is all about making a non-stop track made by the many musicians on the Audio Portal. This time around chipsqueek is aiming for a more “freeform” style, only really being strict on the fact that you yourself have to make your music. Read more about it on the BBS Post linked here! Collab will end July 28th 2026
Digital Nightmare Album (Hosted by @Aalasteir): Madness day is coming up soon and Aalasteir is putting together a little album to celebrate. Create tracks themed after the Madness Combat series OST of glitchy-dark-atmospheric-techno tracks, and send them to Aalasteir. The album is excluded from the Madness Day prize pool, but you can auto-publish your track for September 22nd to enter! Due September 19th!
Collabs without Deadlines:
Undertale Remix Collab (Hosted by @bostonangel): This collab is looking to remix the ENTIRE Undertale soundtrack and have it done in time for the game’s 10th anniversary (it’s been 10 years already???) This is quite the undertaking, so join the server and check which songs are open through the pinned comments, and talk to BostonAngel! Submissions should be finished by September! Concrete deadline yet to be announced
Remix Roulette (Hosted by @yawnmorning): An even amount of people team up into teams of two and remix each other's songs. “So person a remixes a song from person b and person b remixes a track by person a, then they can make a track together” -yawnmorning. Deadlines will not be put in place unless people don’t submit tracks!
Jack the Box 2.0: Rize of the Machines (Hosted by @DJChidow): Jack the Box was a House-Music Collab that was mixed as a live DJ set by the host, DJ Chidow. This collab is a similar story but with Techno music instead of house. Check the NGAPCC Server for more details, DJ Chidow has laid out all the rules and genres he’ll be accepting. Ends Winter 2025!
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (Hosted by @99poly): The idea is simple: take a song you put out in the past and remake, remix, do whatever and breathe new life into the song! Length of the submission should be between 1 and 5 minutes. The deadline is September 2025! Concrete deadline yet to be announced
The Daredevil’s Challenge (Hosted by @CrimsonKero): Collaborators sign up for a queue, and dare each other to make songs with a twist of their choosing. Once a collaborator has been dared and they finish the song, they have to dare another person in the queue. The cycle continues from there until everyone in the queue has made a song! Collab will end when the queue is empty!

Update on Daredevil’s Challenge:
It’s about halfway through.
9 out of 18 queue slots are currently finished, including two entries from myself.
One user left halfway through with a ‘nearly complete WIP’ before going MIA for a few weeks, but still returned to finish.
Two members are still working on their entries, and seven slots are still queued, including returning members.
