July and October were two big months for collabs with about 4-5 releasing in each respectively. With the exception of June and December, we had quite the consistent output of collabs coming out this year! Not only was it consistent, each one has a spark of passion behind it whether it's a serious or goofy collab premise. That's what's great about collabs, if you'll allow the sappy comment, they are driven purely by passion and the want to bring people together to make a quick (or quite lengthy) piece of auditory art! One thing that I (AhWham) personally love to see, is the amount of smaller creators getting the attention they deserve and getting more eyes on their work because of it. It's a seriously fun and consistent way to get your voice out there (wink wink join the server)

I'm kidding of course, Happy New Years Eve Day Newgrounds! Here's to 2025 and the collabs it'll bring!

Hello everyone, welcome to the Collab Calendar for November! These are all the Collabs that are being hosted on the NGAP Collab Center Discord Server, we’ll be covering the ones that are Open for Submission and the ones that are Closed/Ongoing.

Open Collabs:

Beep Block Bunch (Hosted by @anonymous-frog): Anonymous Frog comes forward with a straight-forward idea: to make music based on Beep Block Skyway from Super Mario 3D World! It will include the beeps present in the og track, but those will be added in by the host. Join the server to learn more and read the rules! Due Tomorrow!

Strictly One-Sixty: A footwork & juke collab (Hosted by @d00dfayz): Inspired by Jack the Box by @DJChidow and Break it Up by @xanxoepico, d00dfayz, aka D-Face, is making a Footwork/Juke collab that’ll be mixed to form a continuous DJ track mix! Tracks must be 160bpm and collaborators are allowed to make and submit 2 tracks total. The collab is set for a Q2 2025 Deadline, Learn more by joining the NGAPCC Discord!

Cinematic Collab (Hosted by @3manonmusic): 3manon is hosting a collab with the core objective to make the most cinematic music possible! Epic boss fight music, cinema worthy tracks, anything including big orchestral music! Submission must be original and are encouraged to keep a light-hearted tone, no sad tracks allowed. Collab ends January 18th!

NGAP Terraria Remix Collab (Hosted by @andrewcr): An honest to goodness “says what it does on the tin” collab. Collaborators are tasked with remixing the various tracks in the hit game Terraria! There are no genre restrictions so be as creative as you like, just don’t sample the OG tracks or copy them one to one. AndrewCR has a signup sheet linked in the collab chat on the server! Collab will end when all tracks have been completed!

Hello everyone, Welcome to the Collab Calendar for October! These are all the Collabs that are being hosted on the NGAP Collab Center Discord Server, we’ll be covering the ones that are Open for Submission and the ones that are Closed/Ongoing. (Close/Ongoing collabs are collabs that either don't have a clear deadline or those that aren't accepting submissions but are being actively worked on)

Open Collabs:

NG Radio Collab (Hosted by @Shletty): Shletty has a crazy idea behind this one, what if Newgrounds… had a Radio Station? Joking aside, this collab focuses on making catchy tunes and in between adverts all under the unique umbrella of this fictional radio station. The filters will be applied by Shletty so no need to add your own static/grain! This Collab ends November 10th! Join the Discord Server to join the Collab!

Beep Block Bunch (Hosted by @anonymous-frog): Anonymous Frog hosts another collab (listen to their previous one here) with a straight-forward goal: to make music based on Beep Block Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy and/or Beep Block SkyWay from Super Mario 3D World! NGAP Doom Collab (Hosted by @BlakeyTakeyTheCakey): Get ready to stick it to the forces of hell with this Doom Tribute collab! Collaborators are allowed to take inspiration from any game, Doom 1 to Eternal, and make their own tracks based off that Doom’s OST. NGAP MegaCollab (Hosted by @3manonmusic): 3manon is starting strong with his first collab hosting experience being a mega-collaboration! This collaboration aims to create one cohesive track, where any scouted musicians can contribute. It’s shaping up to be a fun one, and it ends on September 15th! For more information, check out the BBS post linked here!

Infinite Remix Collab 2.0 (Hosted by @Myya): Myya liked the concept behind the collab done by @TheMonster3159 (click here to listen to it) and is giving the idea another go! This collaboration will start with Myya remixing a song, then someone else will remix that remix, and so on and so on. This is localized within the server and has a waitlist already going, if you’re interested you should join the server. Madness Day Collab Album 2024 (Hosted by @Aalasteir): Madness Day is coming up and Aalasteir wants to celebrate with some madness-inspired music! This collab will be exempt from the prize poll so make sure to auto-publish your submission for September 22nd after submitting it to Aalasteir. The collab will be due on September 19th and is localized on our server, so if you’re interested you should join up through the link in our bio!

Closed/Ongoing Collabs:

Who Dun It? (Hosted by @AhWham): AhWham is putting together the rules and sign-up sheet for the original soundtrack! The 5 musicians who’ve expressed interest in the project will have priority when the rules are released, the collab will open doors to anyone to contribute if there are more slots open. Rules are set to be released the first week of September!

13/8 Contest (Hosted by @MasterHand4444) MH4’s first contest came to a close in mid-August and he will be announcing the winners on September 3rd! Listen to the entries here!

For those who don't know us or what we do, we are a community driven audio collab hosting server called the Newgrounds Audio Portal Collab Center (or NGAPCC for short). It's our job to give users a place to host an audio collab and to give collaborators a place to meet musicians, voice actors, singers, etc. That's the short and sweet of it, we've had 35 audio collabs come out of the NGAPCC and we hope to keep that number growing!

This accounts primary use will be:

• Giving monthly updates on the ongoing collabs in the server
• Cataloging all published collabs
• Linking to new audio collabs (the links will take you to that collab's rules in a BBS/News post)
